Design Challenge
The objective of this project is to create a packaging design in an appropriate theme to convey the company’s story. The creative strategies to fulfill these objects, are to accurately communicate the emotion of the brand, and what the company stands for, while maintaining a consistent brand image. The packaging design will use concept and story to support the brand and elicit emotion in the viewer. 
Creative Solution
When creating the packaging design for Fruity Pop, I wanted something different than the typical box packaging of cosmetics.  Therefore, with the thin shape of lip gloss bottles, I knew it would be easy for them to fit into triangular packaging.  This method reduces the surface area of the shape, lessening the paper and packaging waste of the product. The triangular shape also provides an easy grouping of the product. By joining the individual triangles together to create a hexagon, it provides the customers with a desire to buy the full set. The logo design was created through my own handwritten type to represent the natural and clean ingredients in the products, and give it a homemade feel. The three tier hierarchy on the front label is presented with the logo, the fruit flavor, and the product description.
